Several Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund)-sponsored projects have been officially commissioned at the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State.

The commissioning ceremony was jointly performed by the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa; the Chairman of the TETFund Board of Trustees, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari; and elder statesman and former Governor of Osun State, Chief Olabisi Akande.

The newly commissioned projects include the University Senate Building, University Library, ICT Centre, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, University Health Centre, College of Medicine, as well as the University Gate, internal road network and electrification projects.

The projects are part of TETFund’s ongoing intervention aimed at strengthening infrastructure, improving learning and research facilities, and enhancing the overall academic environment in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

The leadership of the university described the development as a major milestone in the institution’s growth, noting that the facilities will significantly boost teaching, learning, healthcare training and service delivery.
