In light of recent rumours circulating about the defection—or alleged plans to defect—by elected representatives under our party’s platform in Zone 3, key stakeholders from the zone convened to assess the situation, clarify the facts, and calm the anxiety such rumours have caused among our party members and to restate its commitment and resolves to protect our mandate

The meeting expressed deep concern over the desperate tactics being employed by the APC, aimed at sowing confusion and mistrust within our ranks. in attempting to manipulate public perception, isolate these leaders from their constituents, and create a false narrative to justify their planned absorption into the APC.

We urge our dedicated members and supporters not to be deceived by these tactics. Your continued support and collaboration at this time is key

We are also fully aware of the APC’s ongoing strategy of intimidation and harassment targeted at influential opposition figures.
Let it be known that we remain resolute. We will not be intimidated or coerced into submission that is against our identity and collective patrimony.
Our resolve to remain in the PDP and defend our mandate—entrusted to our elected representatives by the people—remains firm and unwavering.

The PDP continues to stand strong, united, and deeply rooted in Southern Kaduna. We remain the people’s party—their most trusted and preferred political choice. No amount of political theatric or manufactured narratives by the APC can change this truth.
