The federal government has urged Nigerians to help presidential executive order that withdraws of police escorts from public figures, including celebrities and private‑sector individuals.

In a statement issued by the Presidency, citizens are asked to capture evidence, photographic or video, whenever they identify a celebrity, private‑sector individual, or any person still being accompanied by police escorts contrary to the executive order.

The presidency emphasized that such documentation should be submitted to the appropriate authorities as part of the nationwide effort to enforce the directive.

”If you identify a celebrity, a private-sector individual, or anyone who still has police escorts against the executive order of the president, capture evidence, whether a photograph or vedio as much as you can”. Presidency said.
