President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed Nigeria’s unwavering commitment to confronting terrorism and promoting national unity, emphasizing that security remains non-negotiable.

In a statement on Friday, the President declared that Nigeria will continue to face its challenges with courage, calm, and clarity, while sustaining diplomatic engagements that advance the country’s interests on the global stage.

“We will decisively defeat terrorism and claim victory in this battle. Security is non-negotiable, and we will never compromise on this principle,” Tinubu stated, highlighting his administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen security and uphold the rule of law.

The President reiterated that Nigeria’s unity and shared resilience remain the foundation of its strength. “We rise together, move forward together, and reject despair in favour of determination. Our future is stronger than any fears we may have,” he affirmed.

Tinubu further noted that the government is committed to deepening reforms, driving economic inclusion, and sustaining progress across key sectors. He called on international allies and partners to continue supporting Nigeria’s counterterrorism initiatives.

“We urge our allies to stand firmly with us as we amplify our fight against terrorism. We have made significant progress in the past two years and will decisively eliminate this threat,” he said.
