Governor Uba Sani is currently hosting a high-level meeting of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Northern Traditional Leaders in Kaduna State.
The meeting, which is taking place at the historic Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, is being chaired by Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, Chairman of the Northern Governors’ Forum.
Leading the traditional rulers to the crucial engagement is the Sultan of Sokoto.
Key issues slated for deliberation include:
Rising insecurity across the North The growing almajiri challenge Out-of-school children Other socio-economic challenges confronting the region
The meeting is expected to produce strategic resolutions aimed at strengthening security, boosting education enrollment, and addressing the root causes of youth vulnerability in Northern Nigeria.
