In a major leap toward technological transformation, the Executive Vice President, Business Services (EVP, BS), Sophia Mbakwe, yesterday commissioned two groundbreaking innovation projects at the Research, Technology & Innovation (RTI) Division of NNPC Limited.
The projects include the development of advanced 3D printing capabilities—complete with full infrastructure deployment and operational readiness—and the establishment of a cutting-edge Digital Fabrication Lab (FabLab) MakerSpace.
During the commissioning, the EVP, BS, alongside the Chief Innovation Officer, Rasheed Ojulari, reaffirmed NNPC Limited’s unwavering commitment to pioneering world-class research, accelerating innovation, and driving sustainable growth in the energy sector.
