The Electoral Committee of the Kwain/Kwoi Young People’s Association (KWOYOPA) has formally announced that elections into various offices will hold before the end of November 2025. In a public notice issued on Wednesday, the Committee outlined the full timetable, delegate structure, eligibility requirements, and cost of forms for all aspirants.

According to the notice, the election will be conducted strictly by delegates, comprising all past KWOYOPA Presidents and Speakers as statutory delegates, alongside two representatives from each of the 24 polling units within the KWOYOPA demography.

Sales of Expression of Interest Forms will run from Friday, 14 November 2025 (00:00 hrs) to Friday, 21 November 2025 (11:59pm), while screening of all aspirants is scheduled for Saturday, 22 November 2025 at the Kwain/Kwoi Town Hall.

Candidates are expected to present their manifestos on Sunday, 23 November 2025 at 12:00pm.

Eligibility Requirements

General requirements include:

Must belong to a family/clan of Kwain/Kwoi Must be a registered and financial member of KWOYOPA Must reside within the Kwain/Kwoi demography Must be morally sound and of stable mind No history of drunkenness, social vices, criminal records, corruption, or cult membership Must comply with the laws of Nigeria, Kaduna State, and KWOYOPA’s bye-laws

Specific qualifications:

President: Minimum of First Degree/HND Directors & YPAs: Minimum of OND/ND/NCE from a recognised institution

Cost of Forms

President — ₦20,000 Vice President — ₦17,000 Secretary — ₦17,000 Directors — ₦12,000 YPAs — ₦5,000

The Committee emphasized that this notice supersedes all previous announcements.
