The House of Representatives has officially inaugurated three newly elected members during Tuesday’s plenary session in Abuja.

The Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Membership were administered by the Deputy Clerk (Legislative), Mrs. Kehinde Florence Amos.

Those sworn in include:

Hon. Omosede Gabriella Igbinedion – Ovia Federal Constituency, Edo State Hon. Rabiu Mukhtar – Garki/Babura Federal Constituency, Jigawa State Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu – Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Kaduna State

Their inauguration follows victories in the recent bye-elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to fill vacancies created by the resignation of Hon. Dennis Idahosa (now Deputy Governor of Edo State) and the deaths of Hon. Isa Dogonyaro and Hon. Ekene Abubakar Adams.
