The Coordinating Minister of Health, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, says the ministry and partners have sealed a multi-year partnership with the ICPC to keep a close eye on spending in the ongoing upgrade of primary healthcare centres nationwide.

Under the deal, the ICPC will track and monitor projects identified by NPHCDA in real time, before completion certification is issued.

Professor Pate also noted that hundreds of Performance and Financial Management Officers are already on the ground in all local government areas, working alongside the 774 National Health Fellows recently commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He says the move is part of a renewed push for integrity, transparency, and better value for Nigerians.
