Governor Uba Sani has performed the groundbreaking for the construction of a significant new project in Lere. This project involves building an asphalt road that will connect Kayarda Tasha, Kayarda Gari, Unguwan Sarki, Maskawa, and Dan Alhaji in Lere Local Government Area.
Since taking office, Governor Uba Sani has made considerable advancements in road construction and rehabilitation. Through his Rural Revitalization Agenda, he has initiated the construction of 85 roads, spanning a total of 785 kilometers, in the first phase, with 44 roads already completed and the others nearing completion. In the second phase, he is undertaking the construction of over 50 additional roads and bridges, totaling 550 kilometers.
- These road projects are part of the administration’s broader infrastructure renewal plan, aimed at improving access to rural communities, facilitating the movement of goods and services, and stimulating local economic activities. They will enhance connectivity across local government boundaries and promote trade, agriculture, and social integration within Kaduna State.

The Governor has received defectors along with thousands of their supporters from the PDP to the APC, stating they have made this transition due to the development projects the government is implementing in the local government.
