In a significant step towards improving the healthcare system, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, has approved the payment of the 2024 Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) for health workers in the state.

The chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, Kaduna State, Ishaku Yakubu, disclosed this to journalists at a press conference in Kaduna.

He said that these are better days for health workers in the state, as the implementation is with immediate effect.

The association appreciates the state government and pledges full support to the administration.

Ishaku said that the newly approved salary structure will serve as a motivational factor to encourage the health workers to perform their duties diligently.
