All appears set for a major political shift in Taraba State as Governor Agbu Kefas finalizes moves to officially join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Reliable sources told Kabido News that top APC leaders have converged on the Taraba State Government House in Jalingo for what is described as the final stage of discussions ahead of the official announcement.

Among those present are Uba Maigari, Minister of State for Regional Development; Hon. Mustapha Salihu, APC National Vice Chairman (North East); Dr. Zainab Ibrahim, Deputy National Women Leader of the APC; Ibrahim El-Sudi, Taraba State APC Chairman; and Sani Danladi, TETFund Board Member and former Acting Governor of Taraba State.

Party insiders say the meeting marks the culmination of weeks of behind-the-scenes negotiations led by the APC National Chairman’s Taraba scouting team, tasked with sealing the governor’s defection.

All eyes are now on Jalingo “Nature’s Gift to the Nation” as the state braces for what may be one of the biggest political realignments in recent years.
