The former Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, CFR, has congratulated Alhaji Idris Usman Tune on his appointment as Chairman of the Katsina State Civil Service Commission by the Executive Governor, His Excellency Malam Dikko Umar Radda, PhD, OON.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the former Governor, Rt. Hon. Masari described the appointment of Alhaji Tune as “both fitting and well-deserved,” noting that it reflects the confidence reposed in his capacity, experience, and integrity.
Rt. Hon. Masari recalled that Alhaji Idris Tune had a long and distinguished career in the Katsina State Civil Service, where he served as Permanent Secretary in several ministries and later as Head of Service during his administration. He lauded him as “an astute administrator par excellence” who demonstrated uncommon dedication, humility, and professionalism throughout his illustrious career, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and subordinates alike.
The former Governor expressed confidence that the new Chairman will bring his wealth of experience to bear in advancing the growth and efficiency of the Katsina State Civil Service. He added that under Alhaji Tune’s capable leadership, the Commission would continue to uphold the values of discipline, transparency, and merit that define a vibrant and effective public service.
Rt. Hon. Masari concluded by extending his warm felicitations and best wishes to Alhaji Tune, praying for continued success, wisdom, and Allah’s guidance as he undertakes this important assignment in service to the state.
