A concerned citizen Mallam Lawal Yusuf LY made the call while speaking to Dutsinma zonal correspondent in an interview.
He stressed the importance of meeting up the demands of ASUU to avoid disruption of academic activities.
According to him, huge investment in education sector was never a wasted effort but rather a roadmap to a prosper nation
Mallam Lawal Yusuf explained that, strike action disrupt academic activities and legitimate businesses.
He noted that, strike in the education sector also cause untold stress on parents, students and stakeholders in the education sector.
It could be recalled that, ASUU has declared two weeks warning strike over unpaid salary arrears and non implementation of the 2009 renegotiated agreement.
Meanwhile, the concerned citizen from Dutsinma has acknowledged the contributions of AGILE towards the development of girl child education across Katsina state
Mallam Lawal Yusuf LY acknowledged this, while speaking to Dutsinma zonal correspondent in an interview.
According to him, AGILE in collaboration with the state government has increased girl enrollment and decrease cases of girl drop out of schools.
He stressed that, The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning – AGILE – has been playing a significant role towards promoting girl child education.
Mallam Lawal Yusuf lauded the initiative of Katsina state Government and AGILE scholarship program specifically targeting girls and women
He said, the scholarship would provide financial support to girls and women who meet the admission requirements for NCE program .
He commended governor Dikko Umaru Radda for strengthening the activities of AGILE across the state.
