The Customs Area Controller (CAC) of the Oyo/Osun Area Command, Comptroller Gambo Aliyu, has pledged stronger collaboration with the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), describing inter-agency cooperation as vital to national security and public safety.
In a statement released on Monday, September 29, 2025, by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC I Akintola Abdulmalik, Aliyu, alongside his management team, paid courtesy visits to the offices of both agencies in Ibadan.
At the DSS office, he was received by the State Director, Rahim Adelakun. The CAC commended the DSS for its unwavering dedication to safeguarding lives and property, noting that the service plays a crucial role in peace, stability, and socio-economic development.
He also visited the FRSC Sector Headquarters, where he was welcomed by Sector Commander, Corps Commander Rosemary Alo. Commending the Corps’ efforts, Aliyu praised its commitment to road safety enforcement and continuous public sensitization.
“No government agency can function effectively in isolation. We must continue to support one another because inter-agency synergy is the foundation of national progress,” he remarked.
Both the DSS and FRSC leadership assured Comptroller Aliyu of their readiness to deepen cooperation with the Nigeria Customs Service for the overall good of the nation.
