ON FRIDAY, 26TH SEPTEMBER, 2025, AT THE NYSC TEMPORARY ORIENTATION CAMP GOVENNMENT COLLEGE, KADUNA.
PROTOCOL
I am honoured to be here today to welcome you all to Kaduna state, the Centre of Learning. This orientation course is a significant milestone in your life, and I am delighted to be part of it as it commences officially.
1. Our Dear Youths, as you embark on this year-long journey, I urge you to embrace the values of service, patriotism, and selflessness that the NYSC scheme embodies. The service year is an opportunity to not only serve your country but also to learn, grow, and develop yourselves positively. This self-development starts from here in the orientation camp, where you will be meeting new people across different socio-cultural backgrounds. It is a time to learn, unlearn and re-learn to become better citizens of Nigeria.
2. My dear Compatriots, I encourage you to take advantage of the various programmes and initiatives that the NYSC has put in place within the three weeks to equip you with the necessary tools for success. Be open to new experiences, and ensure that you leave the orientation camp better than you came. As you go about your service year, I charge you to be ambassadors of peace, unity and development. Let your conduct and actions reflect the ideals of the NYSC scheme throughout the orientation exercise and beyond.
3. At this juncture, I assure you that the Kaduna State Government is committed to ensuring your safety and welfare, which is of priority to the state. I encourage you to remain in Kaduna state for your national service. Do not relocate! Kaduna is a state full of opportunities for you to explore and have a rewarding service experience.
4. I wish you all a fruitful and enriching experience during your orientation course and throughout your service year. May you return to your communities and families with newfound skills, knowledge, and a deeper sense of purpose.
5. 7. It is now my pleasure to declare the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II
