The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Thursday gave final order to all members to resign membership of other political parties.
But at the caucus meeting, members present were silent on the timeline for such to be done.
In the same vein, all the presidential aspirants have also agreed to support whoever wins the primary election.
They have equally put to rest everything concerning the ADA, a move that suggested they are not interested in the registration of another association or party.
At the meeting were National Chairman David Mark, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf, former Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, former Sokoto State governor Senator Aminu Tambuwal, former Kaduna State governor, and Chibuike Amaechi.
However, the National Leader of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, was absent but sent an apology after giving his commitment.
“All the presidential aspirants have agreed to support whoever wins the primaries election.
“Though final order has been given to all members to resign membership of other political parties, the Causus was silent on the timeline.
“The NWC will announce dates for Osun and Èkìtì for election of candidates for the off-cycle governorship elections,” a statement from the party Interim National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi said in a statement made available to neqsmen after the meeting in Abuja.
