Earlier today, Sunday, 28th December 2025, Hon. Andrew Ishaya (Maisamarin Jaba-Ham) hosted a cross-section of women executives from Fada Ward, women associations, and other individual women. The occasion also witnessed the unveiling of the official uniform wrappers of the Shazau Women of Halisu.

The well-attended gathering attracted participants from across party lines and beyond. As part of the programme, wrappers were distributed to women executives and other selected women, reflecting a spirit of inclusion and support.

The Vice Chairman, Hon. Mustapha Danladi, was also present at the event. In his address to the people of Fada Ward, he encouraged them to continue sharing love among one another and to remain steadfast in their good values and community spirit.

Addressing the gathering, the Honourable Councillor reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the welfare of women in the ward, stressing that their interests remain close to his heart. He emphasized that the distribution of wrappers was transparently handled and well documented, assuring the audience that no qualified woman was left out of the gesture.

In an interview, Hon. Andrew Ishaya expressed deep appreciation for the consistent support he has received from women over time, describing it as invaluable and worthy of gratitude. He noted, that giving back,especially to the less privileged, has become a personal commitment for him, one that goes beyond festive seasons and is practiced throughout the year.

Hon. Andrew Ishaya also served as the Chief Launcher during the maiden launching of the Shazau Women of Halisu uniform wrappers, further demonstrating his support for women’s unity and development.
