The people of Jaba local government have been called upon to ensure that they participate in the on going Continous Voters Excercise (CRV) this will ensure that all necessary problems of Voters are addressed.
The Commissioner of Information of SIECOM Prof. Joseph Gambo Akpako made the called while at the Kpop Hams’ Palace,His Royal Majesry Dr. Dalandi Gyet Maude (00N) Kwoi on a sensitization visit.
The Commissioner appeallled the traditional rular to help mobilizer his subject for the excersise. He added that anyone that has lost his/her registration card, transfer his Place of abode, omission of name,change of names etc.. can have those issues addressed during this period by the commission’s raportours.
Prof. Akpako added that staffs of the commission are in all the headquarters of each local government, but lamented the shortage of staff affecting the effectiveness of their work, but hope they will be addressed.
In his response the paramount ruler said people do participate in registration but ended up not getting either their name or numbers out, and by that give up during voting excersise after frustrated and unfruitful follow ups. He prayed for a smooth and successful and peaceful excercise, and promise to avail himself whenever they may have any problem during the excersise.
