His Royal Majesty Dr. Danladi Gyet Maude ( OON) the Kpop Ham has the dissolved the National Executive Committee of HAMCDA.
In a declaration at his Palace on the 30th January, 2026 at his Palace in Kwoi, Jaba local government area Kaduna state, informed stakeholders that, ‘ I have followed the development and operations of the Hamda Community Development Association ( HAMCDA), the umbrella Association of HAM COMMUNITY, from its inception in 2008 to date,. I have come to realise that the recent development in the operation of HAMCDA and resultant misunderstanding are traceable to the gaps and weaknesses inherent in the constitution governing the Association….’
His Royal Majesty maintained that with a view to Foster harmony, unity and orderliness..’ I have found it necessary to direct that urgent steps.be taken to close the observable gaps and weakness in the HAMCDA CONSTITUTION. To this end I make the following Declarations:
1The tenure of the Management Committee, that is, the National Executive Committee, has expired, and its membership hereby stands dessolved
2 Pending the review of the HAMCDA Constitution, it’s use in the affairs of the HAM Community is hereby temporarily suspended.
3 A caretaker Committee is, hereby, appointed with the following membership;
i) Rev.Dr. Gideon Paramalam ( Chairman
2) Dr. Joseph Gyuro ( Member)
3)Hon Phoebe Sukai ( member)
4) Austin Gadzama (Secretary)
5) Barr. Jacob Maigari Nalaya ( member)
The mandate of the caretaker Committee is to;
a) Review the current constitution to bring it up to date with current realities and to strengthen the corporate existence of Ham Community.
b) Recommend names to update the composition the membership of the Board of Trustees.
c) Organise and conduct a credible election after review of the Constitution
d) The above are to be submitted to His Majesty, Kpop Ham, for consideration and approval.
5) The duration of the Committee is ninety (90) days from the date of its inauguration.
In their remarks, Madakin Ham, Sen. Haruna Zego Aziz commended His Majesty for his wisdom at addressing the HAMCDA issue, and called on all Ham sons and daughters to eschew bitterness and selfishness to move Ham forward.
Thereafter, the wailing Kpop Ham Eldr. Elisha D Buba formally inaugurated the caretaker Committee members. Barr. Jacob Maigari Nalaya who responded on behalf of others, accept to serve the community in spite of the enamous task, but promise to keep the confidence reposed on them to move Ham land forward.
Those present includes, Mal August in Sidi( wakilin Kpop Ham Plateau),HE. Amb. Bulus Lolo ( Sadaunan Matasan Ham) Engr. Kogi Menson. Eld. Joshua Maikori( Jarman Ham, Dr. Beatrice Kadangs, Mr. Maude A Maude Traditional Council Secretary CAN Chairman and JNI chairman, some officials of the dissolved HAMCDA, District Heads and village heads and many others with unreserved apologies from those that couldn’t attaind, but fully support all that happened.
