Governor Uba Sani, CON received the Ministers of Agriculture and Food Security and Commissioners from across the country ahead of the National Council on Agriculture and Food Security in Kaduna, describing their visit as an endorsement of the state’s commitment to agriculture-driven growth and food security.
The Ministers commended Kaduna as a model of agricultural transformation, being the first to launch the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) and the only state in Northern Nigeria with both SAPZ and an Agricultural Quality Assurance Centre (AQAC). Governor Uba Sani reaffirmed his administration’s dedication through the free distribution of 900 trucks of fertilizer and an increased agricultural budget of 12.5%, surpassing the Maputo Declaration benchmark.
