Kaduna Polytechnic (KadPoly) has handed over the renovation and upgrade of its hostels to contractors under the 2025 Merged Tetfund Annual Project and Maintenance Intervention. The project, which includes renovation, rehabilitation, and upgrade of various hostel facilities, is being undertaken by two contractors: KLM Grand Consultant LTD and S & Z Multi-Mega Services Limited.

The Executive Director of Projects at KLM Grand Consult LTD has promised to deliver quality work that meets the needs of Kaduna Polytechnic and the terms of the contract. “We will do a very good job based on the terms of the contract,” he assured.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Malam Faruk Ndamadu Musa, urged the contractors to deliver standard work that benefits the students and the institution. “Our passion is for you to do standard work for the benefit of the students and Kaduna Polytechnic,” he said.

The project includes a range of works, such as roof maintenance, ceiling repairs, brick wall construction, window maintenance, toilet renovation, painting, tiling, and electrical fittings. The contractors will also renovate the water system, including boreholes and drainage systems.

The project is expected to be completed by April 22, 2026, and is a testament to the Rector’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for students to learn and live. The renovation project is part of the institution’s efforts to improve the welfare of its students and enhance the overall learning experience.
