In a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, peace, and youth empowerment, the Uba Sani Friendly Match organized by the Executive Chairman of Jaba Local Government Area, Hon. Larai Sylvia Ishaku, came to a colorful conclusion on Thursday at the Ngarsu Field, Jaba LGA.
After three days of intense and entertaining football action, Alakoro Boys emerged champions, defeating Jaba Queens 2–1 in a dramatic final that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Despite Jaba Queens’ 70% ball possession, Alakoro Boys’ precision and teamwork secured them the trophy amid loud cheers from supporters.

Speaking on behalf of the Executive Chairman, the Vice Chairman of Jaba LGA praised all participating teams for their discipline and unity, describing the tournament as a reflection of Hon. Ishaku’s inclusive leadership and commitment to peace and youth development through sports.
In a touching gesture, Jaba Queens presented a beautifully crafted framework to Hon. Larai Sylvia Ishaku in honor of her one year in office recognizing her visionary leadership and dedication to grassroots empowerment.

Special awards were presented to exceptional players, with Hon. Ibrahim Nyomo Graba named Best Player of the Tournament and Hon. Nathaniel Amos honored as Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament for their outstanding performances.
Hon. Larai Sylvia Ishaku expressed gratitude to all players, officials, and fans for their participation, reaffirming her administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, community engagement, and development through sports.
